Amherst Primary School is committed to a policy of inclusion and equality. We provide a warm, caring and safe place for all our children so that they can learn and play in a safe and secure environment.
We believe that bullying of any kind is unacceptable and will not be tolerated in our school. We take all incidents of bullying seriously as we all have a right to be safe and protected. We believe that where bullying is challenged effectively pupils will feel safe and we will demonstrate that we are a school that ensures that the right of every child is upheld. Everybody has the right to be treated with respect and at Amherst, we ensure that if bullying takes place this is fully investigated and support is put in place for all involved.
