7:45am - 8.30am
School day
You may bring your child to school between 8.30 am and 8.50 am. The school day ends at 3 pm.
From 8:30 - 8:50, our soft start allows children time to regulate and be ready for formal learning to begin at 8:50. During this time, Children in KS2 will complete 20 minutes of daily reading and complete the AR Quiz for their book. In Ks1 your child's class teacher will provide activities to support good learning behaviours and enable all children to have a positive start to the day.
After School Clubs
After-school clubs are an essential part of our wider offer to the children at Amherst School. All of our clubs run from 3-4 pm.
Clubs give children the opportunity to have experiences that may not otherwise be available during the school day. Clubs run for six weeks at a time, and parents can book places at these clubs using our Parent Booking platform.
